Question: How do bridal appointments work?
Bridal appointments are scheduled in advance to ensure you receive personalized attention from a trained stylist. Prior to your appointment we like to chat and learn more about your overall wedding vision, inspo pictures and any information that will help us be the best stylist for you! During your appointment, we’ll reconfirm your vision, preferences, and budget, then guide you through trying on dresses that align with what you’re looking for. Appointments are typically 1-1 1/2 hours long!
Question: What makes Margene’s Bridal different from other bridal shops?
Our appointments are intentionally calm, supportive, and bride-focused. We believe the bride should feel confident in her own decision, not pressured by opinions or sales tactics. Our stylists are here to listen, guide, and support—not rush or push.
Question: What sizes do you carry?
We believe every bride deserves to feel confident and beautiful. In our stores, we typically stock wedding dresses in sizes 4–26, with many gowns available to try on in inclusive sizing. Most of our designers can be special ordered from a 0 up to size 32.
Question: What price range are your wedding dresses?
Our wedding dresses generally range from approximately $1,400 to $4,000, with many options falling between $1500-$2500. We are mindful of budgets and work intentionally to help brides stay within a comfortable price point without pressure. If you are shopping on a budget we have a unique "limited appointment" that offers you the chance to shop from our last chance selection.
Question: Can I take my wedding dress home the same day?
Yes, everything is priced to be sold from our collection so all wedding dresses are available for same-day purchase and take-home. This is a great option for brides with shorter timelines or those who simply don’t want to wait months for a special order gown. If time allows you are welcome to order a new gown!

Margene’s Bridal has two locations in Idaho:
Boise, Idaho
Idaho Falls, Idaho
Ironically both are located near the mall and Target.

Question: Where can I find modest wedding dresses in Idaho?
Margene’s Bridal is known for offering one of the largest selections of modest wedding dresses in Idaho. Our collection includes gowns with sleeves, higher necklines, fuller coverage, and designs that align with LDS temple standards. Whether you are looking for fully modest styles or a gown that can be easily customized, our stylists will help you find options that feel true to you.
Question: Do you work with LDS and faith-based brides?
Yes. We proudly serve many LDS and faith-based brides and understand the importance of modesty, values, and family-centered experiences. Our team is familiar with temple-ready gowns and respectful styling options.
Question: Is everything in your stores pictured on your website?
No! We are constantly adding to our collection and with over 1,000 dresses between our two stores we know we can find the dress you love! Many of our gowns are exclusive, not found anywhere else in Idaho.
Question: When should I buy my dress?
When you are ready to say yes! Traditionally dresses take 6 months to order but don't worry we stock over 1000 dresses so we can always help brides on any timeline! Keep in mind if you are doing pictures before your wedding day your timeline is different.
Question: What should I know before shopping for my dress?
The most important things to know are when your wedding is going to be, where your wedding is going to be and how much your budget is!
Questions: Who should I bring to my appointment?
We recommend you limit your shopping companion to those whose opinion matters most. You will find it beneficial, as too many conflicting opinions can sometimes be confusing and even stressful. Please no children under 12 (great store for brides, not so fun for children!). This will decrease the amount of distractions and ensure yourself as well as others have a lovely shopping experience.
